Zhang Yi from the High Energy Photon Source (HEPS) Beamline Software Group at the Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, was invited to attend and presented a report titled "Mamba: A New Generation of Experimental Control and Data Acquisition Software Framework" (25 minutes), with the hope of promoting collaboration in material computation and AI for science.

From August 26 to 31, the 15th International Conference on Synchrotron Radiation Instrumentation (SRI) was held in Hamburg, Germany in 2024. Zhang Yi, Zhang ChengLong, Li Chun, Dong Zheng, Li PengCheng, Bian LingZhu, Wang LiWen, Pan XinYu from the Beamline software group attended the meeting.
On the latest "Journal of Applied Crystallography", a research paper entitled "Denoising an X-ray image by exploring the power of its physical symmetry" was published by the research team of Dong Yuhui from the Institute of High Energy Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, bringing revolutionary progress to X-ray imaging technology.
Zhang Yi led a team to develop the efficient data flow management software framework Mamba Data Worker (MDW) based on the Beijing Synchrotron Radiation Facility (BSRF), which is an important component of the experimental control and data acquisition software Mamba.
Zhang Yi Research Group of Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences published a research paper entitled "A step towards 6D WAXD tensor topography" on IUCrJ. This work introduces a new method for six dimensional diffraction tensor tomography based on virtual reciprocal space scanning, and simulates the entire process from data acquisition to reconstruction to verify the accuracy and feasibility of the method.
The first user committee meeting of the High Energy Synchrotron Radiation Light Source (HEPS) was held at the HEPS Comprehensive Experimental Building in Huairou Science City. The meeting will arrange a progress report and discussion session on the construction of the first batch of HEPS beamline stations. Tao Ye provided a detailed introduction to the situation of each station, including scientific objectives, station characteristics, performance parameters, experimental methods, construction progress, etc., and answered questions from experts and absorbed their suggestions.
The International Conference on Machine Learning in X-ray and Neutron Science was successfully held from April 8-10, 2024 at the Technical University of Munich, Germany's FRM II. Li Chun, a member of the HEPS beamline software group at the Institute of High Energy, Chinese Academy of Sciences, attended the meeting and gave an oral presentation titled "Machine learning methods for automatic sample detection and intelligent recognition", and answered questions from on-site attendees.
The 6th International Conference on X-ray and Neutron Grating Contrast Imaging was successfully held from April 8th to 12th, 2024 at Shenzhen Advanced Technology Research Institute. This conference covered hot topics, cutting-edge topics, and difficulties in the fields of grating fabrication, detectors and radiation sources, signal recovery and algorithms, life sciences and biomedical/clinical applications, methods and instruments, as well as materials science and industrial applications, and conducted in-depth sharing and exchange, effectively promoting academic exchanges and field development among international peers.
